"This was our second stay in this cottage and it was just as wonderful as the first time. The Easter eggs were a lovely touch." - Emily (April 2019)
"I booked this AirBnB on Behalf of my colleagues. The property was fantastic respite whilst our team were out working. The home was clean, cosy and the amenities were perfect - Laura & Andrew were kind & courteous throughout, we’d happily return to this AirBnB" - Stephen & Katie (April 2019)
"A wonderfully peaceful place with glorious views - Laura & Andrew are very welcoming hosts. We were greeted with homemade biscuits on the kitchen table, such a lovely touch. The cottage is one of 2 that sits on their farm, very well-equipped, cosy & comfortable with a roaring wood-burning stove. The perfect base from which to explore this gorgeous part of Suffolk. Our children loved the freedom of running around the farmyard, meeting the chicks with Laura & Andrew’s friendly 6-year old Teddy & watching the free-range chickens strutting their stuff! Such a great find - we’re already looking forward to returning soon. Thank you!" - (Paula (February 2019)
"Excellent cottage to truly get away from it all! Cosying up in front of the fire, and the trip to the local pub (the white horse) were definite highlights!" - Callum (January 2019)
"This Cottage was set in beautiful grounds with a lovely view across fields. It was extremely clean with a homely feel (the comfiest sofas I’ve ever sat on) and a brilliant open plan kitchen dining area! Overall a lovely stay where we felt very welcome!" - Cesca (January 2019)

"We had a lovely relaxing couple of days at Sorrel Lei. The cottage was like home from home - very cosy and warm with all the amenities you need. The cottage is quite spacious and the bedrooms a good size with amazing views. The peace and quiet was just what we needed but we were able to get to the coast and forest within 20-30 mins. There is so much to discover in this beautiful area so we will definitely return for a longer stay soon. Laura and Andrew were great hosts answering any questions we had within minutes and giving advice on the area." - Tina (October 2018)

"We had a wonderful stay at The Walks in September. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped, and Laura and Andrew were very helpful in arranging our stay and providing a high chair and travel cot for our daughter. The setting is lovely and the views from the cottage are stunning. Our daughter loved visiting the hens and other animals on the farm. We would love to have stayed longer." - Anna (September 2018)

"Our family had a wonderful stay in Laura and Andrew's cosy cottage. Fresh eggs on arrival were much appreciated. We were made to feel very welcome and it was an excellent base from which to visit local beaches and other attractions. The children loved the farm and we have promised them we will return! the wonderful view.." - Helen (August 2018)

"Travelled with our family from London. Very cozy cottage at a lovely quiet location. The night sky was filled with stars, which we could never see from London. Andrew was very helpful. We had a very comfortable stay. We especially liked the drive into the cottage, thru the lovely tree lined road.." - Vankatesh (August 2018)

"Lovely views from the patio." - Theresa (August 2018)

"Lovely place, very scenic and easy check in, check out process." - Jonathan (June 2018)

"Stayed here for a couple of nights & was perfect. Primarily to visit Aldeburgh & Suffolk coast. House was clean, good size, open plan living area. Laura had left some tea & milk to make a cup of tea with biscuits. Which was very welcoming. We loved having our morning cuppa in the back garden listening to the birds & apprehensively awaiting the arrival of deer in the field. There is a small honesty shop on site for basic provisions, a village shop a short distance away & a couple of supermarkets just over 3 miles away." - David (May 2018)

"Went there with a couple of friends and we loved it. Laura was super thoughtful and helpful. She received us with cakes and lent us her BBQ for the weekend. The place was super clean and there’s plenty of space. We found all we needed for a weekend away from the city. We totally recommend it." - Amin (May 2018)

"Great stay despite the rain."  - Phil (April 2018)

"Really happy with our stay. The house is in a wonderful, quiet location, with a beautiful view into a massive landscape. Plus it's a 3 minute bike ride to the local pub. Would happily stay again."  - Mark (February 2018)

"A fantastic cosy farm cottage with views over farmland although we did have trouble initially finding it as our iphones and car satnat took us to 3 different locations and none of them correct! Best thing to do is get on the B1119 between Sweffling and Framlingham and look out for the white signs on the right hand side for Sweffling Hall Farm. Its an absolute gem of a place and Laura is a wonderful host. The cottage is fantastically warm and amenities brilliant, you wont be disappointed! "- Jackie (January 2018)

2017 Holiday Cottage reviews

"We stayed here while visiting family nearby over Christmas and it was just perfect. Comfortable, cosy, warm and quiet. The view over the fields was beautiful - one morning we even saw a deer. I imagine it would be a lovely place to stay in the summer - you could sit out on the terrace with that view, and it’s just a short drive from lots of great Suffolk beaches - but in the middle of winter, sitting by the wood burner drinking mulled wine (kindly left for us by Laura), hearing owls hoot outside, it was something really special." - Emily (December 2017)

"Awesome spot. Lively, fun family. You'll leave well-rested and re-energised." - Adrian (September 2017)

"It's a remarkable place, and Laura was very nice" - Jessica (August 2017)

"Escape reality. Tranquil." - Ellie (August 2017)

2015 reviews

"We immediately relaxed when we got to the farm. The Walks is a very relaxing space with a lovely view of the countryside, and a well thought out layout . Great base to explore the Suffolk coast. The children really enjoyed being on a farm, and they loved going up to collect some eggs each morning. Highly recommended!" - Emily (July 2015)

"Very warm, friendly host. When Andrew brought towels, he dropped off a couple of Easter bunnies for our kids. It's very quiet. A great base to explore the seaside towns nearby but refreshingly down to earth. It's a great place to go running. Very well equipped place. Loved having the woodburner for a cold evening. Beautiful countryside and views all around the property. In the summer, the outside space would be amazing for a bbq. The kids (1 & 3) loved it. They slept well in their twin room. And lovely to see the nice side of chicken farming! They literally have the run of the place - acres." - Charlotte (April 2015)

"The cottage was in a lovely setting and well equipped. No complaints! " - Rob (January 2015)

2014 Holiday Cottage reviews

"My young family and I had a lovely stay at Bramble Cottage. The setting is idyllic backing onto beautiful Suffolk countryside, and the property itself is just as described, with everything we needed for our family Christmas get-together. Laura was also more than willing to supply any extras we requested for our festive feast! The cottage is super warm with under floor heating throughout, and as much fuel for the woodburner as we could use. The beds are comfortable, and the facilities all more than adequate. We would definitely recommend this property, and indeed a visit to Sweffling, to anyone looking to spend time in this beautiful part of Suffolk."  - Rosalind (December 2014)

"The cottage is nicely appointed with plenty of space for 4 people in the double and twin bedrooms. Clean and tidy with nice bedlinen and towels and comfortable bed. Very quiet rural location. Car required to visit anywhere - plenty to see in local area for a week. Good cycling area and lots of golf courses. Hosts were welcoming and helpful." - Malcolm (September 2014)

"Loved every second of being here. Laura, the Kirsty Alsop of Sweffling ... Gemma has purchased wool & needles and is knitting as I type...  Thank you xxx"  - Suzanna (Spetember 2014)

"Lovely farm, beautiful setting. We were very warmly welcomed and had a great stay - both the cottages we're excellent. Highly reccommend! " - Carrie (August 2014)

"  - Patricia (August 2014)

At the bend of a small road in the middle of wheat fields, this cottage offers the tranquility of the countryside. Day punctuated by the singing of some exceptional chickens, and opened on a real postcard of tranquility.  An ideal place to meet up with family at 4 or 5.  The environment is rich with very nice discoveries: walking paths (on foot or by bike), villages, castles, history and customs ... The shores of the North Sea (20min by car) dotted with beautiful little villages or cities of charm, have colored our outings!    Laura, full of dynamism, warmly welcomed us and organized the discovery of country knitting!  The activity of the farm does not go directly to the cottage and the animals keep their quarters.    An address of charm and tranquility!
