What is a REKO Ring?
REKO stands for ‘Fair Consumption’ and is a trade model developed in 2013 in Finland to connect local consumers and local producers.
Think of it like a weekly veg box meets farmers market. Cutting out the middle man and the guesswork for both the consumer and the producer so everyone is a winner!
You are helping support sustainable locally sourced produce, providing an ethical way to do your weekly shop, minimise waste and reduce carbon footprints!

How does a REKO Work?
There are a few Suffolk REKO ring groups - each one has a different collection point which will be held at a regular time and day each week for 30 minutes.
Producers post what they have for sale that week in their local REKO Facebook group. The customer then orders by leaving a comment on the post. After the collection day, all the posts are deleted and the cycle repeats again.
